Ben Steinbauer
When Ben Steinbauer was three years old he used a blanket as a cape and tried to fly off the garage. In the 4th grade he took break-dancing lessons and in the 10th grade he played center on the Edmond Memorial High School varsity football team. Now Ben makes movies. Ben’s short films have premiered at South-by-Southwest and the Austin Film Festival, played on PBS, won awards including top prize at the 2006 Cinematexas Film Festival and screened at the Directors Guild Theatre in Los Angeles.
He currently teaches at the University of Texas and just finished the hilarious new documentary Winnebago Man.
